With exceptional resistance to drops from 3 meters, the Granit is designed to continue operating after drops on concrete from forklifts, forklifts and loading ports. The unique residency specification of up to 7000 drops ensures that this scanner will continue to work in the harshest environments.

Field feedback shows that the scanning window is a high-frequency point of failure for scanning devices in the industrial environment. Granit scanners are designed with a small, deeply recessed, scratch- and impact-resistant window to prevent these failures. This is a critical sealing component that ensures that dust and moisture from entering the case can degrade scanning performance or cause premature failure.
