BarTender® barcode software by Seagull Scientific helps organizations around the world improve safety, security, efficiency and compliance by creating and automating the printing and control of labels, barcodes, RFID tags, plastic cards and more. Seagull Scientific has developed its own Windows printer drivers for use with thermal and barcode printers.

BarTender 2019 is the latest release of the software that will introduce new and improved features to reduce the complexity of enterprise labeling.

The SW versions are STARTER, PROFESSIONAL, AUTOMATION and ENTERPRISE and all are licensed per number of printers + base license. Printer licenses can be added in any quantity, provided that Printer Maintenance is also added.

All BarTender licenses include at least one year of standard maintenance and support.

Purchases of additional printers and/or upgrades to an existing BarTender license also require the purchase of standard maintenance and support so that the renewal date aligns with the original license renewal date. This allows for a significantly simplified purchase and renewal process.

Customers must have active maintenance and support to upgrade licenses or add printers.
